| About Us In 1982 I started a catering business covering weddings, parties and directors’ lunches hiring two restaurants on a daily basis, one in Richmond, the other in Wimbledon and by 1984 I was working a seven day week and had my own restaurant.
I was often asked by clients for table name cards that people could keep and said at the time “Wouldn’t it be nice if someone designed a range of co-ordinated tableware products of napkin rings, menus, table name cards, invitation cards and something to put flowers and bottles into."
As time went by we moved from Surrey and were fortunate in having a mews garage and adjoining workshop at our home. We converted the workshop into an Antique and Crafts shop.
The time had now arrived to put into action the ideas of a co-ordinated Tableware and Greeting Cards Collection and Wayside Designs Limited trading as Wendy Hall Cards was founded to produce and market these items.
